At Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, not only is cosmetic plastic surgery an option, but also non-surgical cosmetic procedures are available.  When patients are looking to transform their look and regain their confidence, there are numerous options to consider.  Many of the most rewarding treatments are simple and do not require surgery.

Dr. Frenzel offers the most effective non-surgical cosmetic enhancements available, including Juvederm, Botox, CO2 laser resurfacing, skin care treatments, laser vein treatment, chemical peel, and more.

Botox is a non-surgical procedure designed to sooth persistent lines between the brows.  This treatment takes only ten minutes and requires a few injections to relax the muscles that cause the lines to form.  Botox treatments last for about four months and there is no downtime required.  Botox can be used to treat forehead lines and wrinkles, frown lines, forehead furrows, and crow’s feet.

At Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, Juvederm is used in accordance to FDA guidelines to treat masolabial folds.  This treatment is a hyaluronic-acid wrinkle filler designed to correct facial wrinkles and folds.  It can be used to treat lip augmentation, treatment of tear trough deformities, treatment of sunken mid face tissues, treatment of marionette lines, and treatment of glabellar lines or forehead lines.

Juvederm is available in Ultra and Ultra plus formulations.  Ultra is the most popular and is used to treat moderate facial wrinkles and folds.  Ultra plus is designed to add volume and treat deep wrinkles.  During this treatment, Dr. Frenzel uses a fine needle to inject Juvederm into the areas of the face requiring augmentation.  The pain level is minimal and can be reduced with topical anesthesia.

CO2 laser resurfacing is another non-surgical option at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery.  Dr. Frenzel uses a carbon dioxide laser to treat sun-damaged skin and scars as well as smooth fine wrinkles.  This procedure is performed in the office under local anesthesia and light iv sedation.

The purpose of the CO2 laser is to produce light that can remove the top layers of damaged skin.  During the procedure, scars, lines, wrinkles, and blemishes are removed along with the outer damaged skin layers.  The CO2 laser emits energy that vaporize skin cells in a precise manner.  During an initial consultation, Dr. Frenzel will discuss your skin imperfections, texture, thickness, and type to determine if you are a candidate.

Another effective skin rejuvenation treatment for blemishes, fine wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, and sun damage is the chemical peel procedure.  For this treatment, layers of dead cells are exfoliated and replaced by healthier cells.  The purpose of this procedure is to allow your skin’s tightness and clarity to resurface.

During the chemical peel procedure, the skin is gently cleansed with alcohol followed by acetone.  The solution is then applied to the skin and allowed to penetrate.  The outermost damaged layer of skin is then removed, resulting in a glowing complexion.

Dr. Frenzel offers a variety of non-surgical cosmetic treatments for patients looking to rejuvenate their skin and feel confident in their appearance.  If you are interested in learning more about cosmetic treatments, schedule an initial consultation today.
